They arrived this morning along with the 901 Driving irons, Mid grips, Regular 95g Steel shafts, so straight out too the driving range and bucket off 70 balls, then 18 holes, late lunch at club house and another two buckets of balls at driving range, by the second bucket I was getting tired so mishitting allot, so here my impression of the 901’s after today.
Well packaged with cute little iron covers. They are one nice looking club, I like the finish, they are quality clubs. I have large hands for my size so the mid grips are great for me. The shafts are perfect for my swing so i am please I chose the shafts i did. They have good forgiveness as I found out on my last bucket off the day when i started mishitting allot. I am hitting these as far as I hit my friends P790’s so distance I am getting is putting a big smile on my face. After today I can say these are really really good irons, great quality, great feel, nice feedback. Also I liked that every iron head was weighed and tag with its weight, nice Calong.
My advice if thinking of Calong 701, 801 or 901 irons, do a search on them on YouTube, there are quite a few reviews and comparisons between the different sets, I did and settled on the 901’s.
Bottom line these are high quality great irons, highly recommended.

Beautiful clubs these 901’s I got these in a completely different spec than my 701 and 801’s which I have both eith 105g regular shafts, this time so opted for 95g regular and standard grips, I’m not convinced I made the right choice.
I struggle with these 901’s tempo especially, however that is on me this as nothing to with the Calong and the clubs they are stunning and the quality is exceptional.
I do think though that these clubs are more suited to a mid handicapper, the profile size of the head is smaller than the 801’s so for me don’t inspire confidence and would imagine a high handicapper would be a little nervous with these.
I have used them for one round only and they performed well I did mis hit a fair few though but fell that could be me trying to get used to the lighter shaft and thinner grip.
The quality of the clubs are fantastic and yet again Calong built these to my specs and they look beautiful and like all my Calong clubs have pride of place in my Studio polished and ready to use when I fancy a challenge.
For the money these clubs cost you cannot go wrong, anybody spending 4x the cost of these clubs need to give their heads a wobble.

Arrived this morning, I have not had a chance to go and hit them but going to do so during the weekend!!!! From the moment you open the packaging you can see this is great quality. Nicely packed and protected, and the clubs themselves come with headcovers and shafts are covered in plastic. Well done on that. The look and feel of the clubs and grips themselves is just so PREMIUM! Great value for your money.
